A member of the Conference Office team, based in the Foresight Centre, has been presented with a Liverpool Ambassador Award for excellence in customer care.
The Liverpool Ambassador Awards recognise outstanding examples of customer care delivered by individuals working across service sectors throughout Liverpool and the greater Merseyside region.
Nicola Gilmore from the new centralised office was shortlisted for the prestigious award due to her contribution in providing professional event services and ensuring that all clients receive outstanding levels of customer care.
Out of a large number of nominees from a wide range of industries, Nicola shone through winning the Visitor/Event Assistant of Year, competing against three other finalists to achieve the award.
Lesley Dann, Conference Manager, said: “We have always differentiated ourselves through our focus on customer service and professionalism. Nicola was shortlisted in her category due to her exceptional outlook and commitment to every delegate and visitor she meets. She is fully committed to providing the excellent customer service to all who visit the University and is a fantastic asset to the team.”
Nicola picked up her award at a ceremony in the Crowne Plaza.
Judge’s comment: “The winner obviously enjoys their job and is very proud of their venue and fellow team mates. This person is determined that all clients go back to their parts of the world impressed with Liverpool. Their commitment to turn a challenge into a success is very impressive and their commitment to exceed expectations is fantastic.”
