Equine partnership with Inner Mongolia Agricultural University

A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the University and the Inner Mongolia Agricultural University (IMAU).

The Memorandum, on behalf of the Division of Equine Studies and the IMAU, which has 32,000 students and teaches veterinary science, will support areas of equine clinical veterinary education, infectious disease surveillance in the provision of master’s-level education for Chinese students.

The Division is part of a five-way partnership involving the University, IMAU, Animal Health Trust, Harbin Veterinary Research Institute and the Hong Kong Jockey Club which has received the approval of the Chinese Ministry of Agriculture, the first programme in China for equine veterinary knowledge exchange to do so.
