Dr Sarah Lake, Senior Postdoctoral Researcher in Molecular and Clinical Cancer Medicine has won the ‘Cancer Research UK Postdoc of the Year’ award for 2012.
The prize rewards an individual’s career ambitions, CV and research outputs based on the candidate’s plans for the future.
Dr Lake, of the Institute of Translational Medicine, received the award at the inaugural CR-UK Postdoctoral Career Development Day in London, where she was presented with a £1,000 travel bursary and a merit award for ‘career ambitions’.
As part of the award, Sarah will be profiled on the CR-UK website.
