Inaugural lecture: reducing deaths from rotavirus

Staff are invited to an inaugural lecture which will highlight the work undertaken by the University in the global battle against rotavirus disease.

Professor Nigel Cunliffe, Professor of Medical Microbiology and Honorary Consultant Microbiologist at Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust, will speak about how diarrhoeal disease is responsible for an estimated two million deaths each year among children worldwide.

Reducing deaths from rotavirus diarrhoea is on Thursday, 22 November at 6pm in the Victoria Gallery & Museum.
