The Victoria Gallery & Museum (VG&M) organised three popular family afternoon events at the Anglican Cathedral during the recent half-term.
The events were an opportunity for the VG&M to work in partnership with the Anglican Cathedral and engage with new families.
Over 500 people attended the three days which featured specially adapted activities themed around different animals featured in the Cathedral.
Kirsty Hall, Education Officer at the VG&M, said: “We are very pleased with the results of this partnership. The numbers of families who attended the events far exceeded our expectations and the feedback we received was fantastic.”
Sarah O’Donoghue, Education Officer at Liverpool Cathedral said: “We felt there was potential in a partnership and are pleased that we were able to make it happen and that it was so successful.”
The activities were made possible with the support from VG&M and cathedral volunteers. The VG&M is now actively exploring ways of continuing this partnership in the future.
The activities appear in the current edition of Your Move magazine.
