The deadline for receipt of nominations is now imminent.
Each year, the University awards a number of honorary degrees to individuals who have achieved eminence in their chosen fields, including academics and those in public life, or who have made outstanding contributions to the local community.
Nominations for the award of honorary degrees are considered by the Joint Committee on Honorary Degrees which makes recommendations to the Senate and the Council.
Any members of staff who wishes to make a nomination for an honorary degree may obtain a nomination form from Pamela McGenity, PA to the Academic Secretary or telephone 0151 794 2059.
Nominations must be received by Wednesday 20 March 2013 at the latest.
