Careers service takes second place in rankings

The survey found 70% of students use the Careers & Employability Service

The University of Liverpool’s Careers & Employability Service has been ranked second for student usage in the annual UK Graduate Careers Survey with The Times.

The survey, which compares the top 30 university careers services in the UK, revealed that 70% of students at the University of Liverpool use the service, placing it ahead of the University of Cambridge and Aston University.

The UK Graduate Careers Survey is conducted by High Fliers Research – an independent company that specialises in student and graduate research – for The Times newspaper.

This year’s survey is made up of face-to-face interviews with some 17,000 final year students from thirty key universities. It provides a unique insight into the career expectations and aspirations of final year students in their search for a graduate job.
