Staff are invited to the annual Sutcliffe Kerr Lecture which will be given by self-proclaimed Humanist Professor Raymond Tallis.
This year, the showcase neuroscience event offers the chance to hear the highly entertaining clinical, neuroscientist and philosopher, who is known for his appearances on TV and radio.
After retiring from medicine in 2006 he penned fictional stories, three volumes of poetry and 23 books on the philosophy of mind, philosophical anthropology, literary theory, the nature of art and cultural criticism.
