Each year a special day is set aside to remember all those men and women who were killed during the two world wars and other conflicts.
Memorial service
The University will be holding a service in memory of members of staff who made that ultimate sacrifice.
The ceremony will take place on Monday 11 November in the Waterhouse Café in the Victoria Gallery & Museum, beginning at 10.50am with a two minute silence at 11am.
After the ceremony guests are welcome to go to the Chavasse Memorial in Abercromby Square for a short ceremony.
