Staff are invited to submit contributions for the University’s annual University Learning and Teaching Conference, which will take place at the Foresight Centre on 26 June 2014.
The keynote speaker at the conference will be Professor Sir Robert Burgess, Vice-Chancellor at the University of Leicester, who chaired the steering group that produced the Burgess Report, calling for sweeping changes in university degree classification.
As in previous years, the conference will provide a forum for staff from across the institution to present and share new ideas in learning, teaching and assessment with their fellow practitioners.
Submissions are welcomed from staff for:
– 20 minute presentations with 10 minute discussion
OR
– 10 minute presentation with structured 20 minute discussion
The session should include a series of questions for the audience to discuss and debate and your presentation may be on any theme related to student learning. Submissions including student participation are particularly encouraged.
Expressions of interest should include a title or topic and should be forwarded to eddev@liv.ac.uk by 20 December. If you would like to discuss your ideas first, please contact Dr Patrick Doherty, patrickj@liv.ac.uk or Dr Trish Lunt pjlunt@liv.ac.uk.
