The University had a visit from the President Kennedy High School, near Coventry, who have taken a novel step to inspire it’s Year 7 pupils.
Building on its impressive OFSTED reports, each tutor group was named after a different Russell Group university which they then had to research, finding out more about their namesake institution and their future options.
The ‘Liverpool’ group visited to see first-hand the facilities and equipment available and took part in a series of hands-on workshops and a liquid nitrogen presentation by the Physics Outreach Team also delivered
Pete Doyle, Educational Opportunities Officer, said: “Staff and students were on hand to answer any questions and all the pupils enjoyed their visit.”
