New HR system roadshows running in April

Staff are being invited to attend CORE HR Roadshow events, which are taking place throughout April.

CORE HR is the new self-service system that will automate key HR functions such as payroll, expenses and absence management, allowing staff to initiate their own HR processes and take ownership of their personal information. Scheduled to go live in May, the system will deliver a more personalised and efficient service, streamlining HR functions and speeding up processing times.

CORE HR will give staff greater control over their personal details, allowing them to easily access and change securely-held information such as addresses and bank details.

Faster processing

It will be used to input overtime and additional hours online for faster processing and staff will be able to view payslips and P60’s online and print copies for official use. Expenses will also be paid fortnightly, speeding up the timescales for reimbursement.

Annual leave will also be booked and approved by managers online and staff will be able to manage their own learning via a new career development function. For more information visit: https://www.liv.ac.uk/intranet/hr/my-hr/corehr/ .

Faculty and professional services departments will be cascading invitations to the roadshows, which will provide the opportunity for staff to familiarise themselves with the new CORE HR system and understand how they will be able to access and manage their HR information. There will be demonstrations of the system, showing how the key processes will work and staff are encouraged to attend to help support a smooth transition when the system goes live.

Queries

The CORE HR Project Team will be on hand to answer queries and have used feedback from recent training sessions to ensure that the sessions answer questions raised by staff who have already experienced the new system.
