Crown Place and Dover Court residential advisor roles available

From l to r: Professor Penny Holliday, Professor Tim Jones, Professor Mark Power and Dr Stephen Jay

Residential advisor roles are now available in Crown Place Hall and Dover Court  – the new on campus accommodation that will become home to students for the first time from September.

Opportunities are now open to staff and postgraduate and mature students and are vital to helping students to settle in and get the most out of University life in their introductory year at university.

Residential Advisors live in student halls and work alongside wardens, looking after the general welfare of students, maintaining order and encouraging activities amongst the student community.

The roles ensure that undergraduate students are fully supported and encouraged and advisors play an important part of the student experience. They develop important organisational and management skills, which often prove useful in securing future roles, demonstrating great examples of their experience and responsibilities.

Any member of staff on a fixed term or permanent contract, or third year undergraduate student, or post graduate student, can apply for the role.
