University maintains position in 2015 University Guide

Liverpool is ranked 36th in the Times and Sunday Times University Guide 2015, maintaining the same position as last year.

Results place the institution 22nd in the Russell Group, up from 23rd last year.

Lancaster University tops the North West table for the fourth year running, with Liverpool in third position behind the University of Manchester.

The Times and The Sunday Times University Guide 2015 includes profiles of all universities and the leading colleges of higher education.

The league table is drawn up from criteria including student satisfaction, research quality, entrance qualifications held by new students, degree results achieved, student/staff ratios, graduate employment and further study levels, services and facilities spend and university degree completion rates.

The University will be analysing the Sunday Times data this morning.
