The University will welcome more than 15,000 visitors to its summer season of Open Days.
The event, which takes place on Friday, 19 June and Saturday, 20 June, gives prospective students and their parents the opportunity to find out more about the University, its courses, and the city.
There is a packed schedule of tours, talks and activities on offer, including welcome presentations, visits to accommodation and demonstrations from academic departments.
Research suggests that more students than ever are using Open Days to help them make informed decisions about their future careers. The number of students registering for Liverpool events has grown each year, providing opportunities to showcase academic programmes, new accommodation, and teaching facilities to thousands of prospective applicants.
A year in China
The event will also include the launch of the University’s Year in China programme – a flagship opportunity for undergraduates to spend an additional year at Liverpool’s partner university, XJTLU near Shanghai, as part of their degree.
A Year in China webpage gives information about the programme and the eligible degree courses http://www.liv.ac.uk/study/undergraduate/goabroad/year-in-china/.
The next Open Day will take place on Saturday, 26 September 2015. For more information about the forthcoming events please visit: http://www.liv.ac.uk/study/openday/info/.
