The University’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Janet Beer, has launched the expansion of a student exchange programme with the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK).
The partnership between the universities has been in place since 2008, which saw Liverpool engineers spend six weeks in Hong Kong on the CUHK International Summer School programme.
Engineering students from CUHK have also had the opportunity to spend a semester or a year in Liverpool studying their degree.
Expanded programme
The two universities wanted to expand the success of this programme to other degree disciplines to enhance the opportunities for students wishing to gain valuable skills from overseas institutions.
The scheme now includes opportunities for Liverpool students studying on Management, English, and Communications and Media programmes. Further programmes are expected to be confirmed later this year.
