Students joining the University of Liverpool this week will have the opportunity to take part in a packed programme of events and activities across campus and the city.
The Welcome Fair will take place from 10am until 4pm on Thursday, 24 September and Friday, 25 September in the Liverpool Guild of Students building.
The London campus will also host a series of events during Welcome Week, including welcome talks, information sessions and a welcome drinks reception.
Both new and returning students can find out how to get involved in all that university life offers and what societies, sports, activities, events, and volunteering opportunities are available throughout the year.
VC welcome
Students have received a list of key departmental events and have been encouraged to attend the Vice-Chancellor and Guild Welcome Session at the start of the week.
Over the week, the Guild will play host to acts including, the Pigeon Detectives, comedian Sean Walsh, and a ‘paint party’ with Danny Jones. The Welcome Week Ball on Saturday, 26 September will feature Lethal Bizzle and a DJ set from Sub Focus.
The International Support Team Orientation takes place on Monday, 21 September, helping international students adjust to their new university life and meet new people before academic studies begin.
From Saturday, 19 September Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) collection will also be available for international students.
Registration
Registration drop-in sessions will take place all week (21 – 25 September) in the Central Teaching Laboratories but students can also confirm their attendance on a campus computer or by visiting Liverpool Life on their own device via the University Wi-Fi.
