Researchers discuss impact of creative technologies at public event

Gardens by the Bay, Singapore.

Researchers in art and technology will explore the connected worlds of the engineer and the craftsman, as part of the University of Liverpool’s Science and Society series.

Bringing architecture and advanced interactive visualisation onto the stage, speakers across three disciplines will look to imagine new ways of connecting, shaping and being in society now.

Professor Stephi Hemelryk-Donald, Head of the University’s School of the Arts, will give an overview of technology as art. Professor Hemelryk-Donald’s research covers film, the media, and children’s experiences in the Asia-Pacific region, with a particular focus on visual culture.
