Liverpool ranked in top 100 most international universities

ranking

The University has been ranked 78th in the 2016 Times Higher Education (THE) Top 200 most international universities.

The result places the University 16th in the Russell Group, with Imperial College London topping the ranking in 10th position. Overall 21 Russell Group institutions feature in the top 200.

This score is a measure of the international diversity of the staff and student body and the extent to which academics collaborate with international colleagues during research.

International outlook is one of the five broad measures used in the THE World University Rankings released in October, with the others being Teaching, Research, Citations and Industry Income.

Head of Strategic Planning Anita Wright said: “International outlook is a key element of our new Global Strategy 2026. This is a pleasing result for the University and one that we will look to build on and further develop as we implement our new strategy”
