Liverpool maintains position in THE student experience survey

The University of Liverpool has maintained its position at 69th place in the Times Higher Education Student Experience Survey 2016.

More than 15,000 full-time undergraduates were asked how strongly they agreed that their university offered 21 different provisions, including “high quality staff/lectures”, “good extracurricular activities” and “good support and welfare”.

Participants are asked to rate the performance of their university in each category using a seven-point scale.

Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Education, Professor Gavin Brown, said: “Student feedback is crucial to our efforts to improve and provide the very best experience for all of our students. We continue to invest heavily in our campus and student services, including a £3.6 million refurbishment plan for teaching facilities,  further investment in our award-winning Careers and Employability Service, and new support for students wanting to undertake work placements or learn how to start their own business.”

Loughborough University in the East Midlands tops the list, up one place from second position last year.
