The University of Liverpool’s Management School has entered the Financial Times (FT) Masters in Finance rankings for the first time.
The ranking lists the top 55 pre-experience programmes globally, based on areas such as value for money, employability and international mobility. Only 16 UK schools are placed in this ranking and to participate a school must be accredited and have met specific criteria.
The rankings are calculated according to information provided by business schools and their alumni. An important element of the ranking is the information provided by alumni In many areas including ‘salary today ’, ‘placement successes’ and ‘international mobility’.
This success follows on from the Management School’s MBA programme entering The Economist’s ‘Which MBA?’ top 100 global ranking in 2015.
Professor Julia Balogun, Director of the Management School, said: “We are absolutely delighted that the ULMS Masters in Finance programme features in the Financial Times Global Masters in Finance 2016 Rankings.
“This is the first time the School has been placed in these prestigious rankings. It is a real achievement for the School and a recognition of our growing reputation and the strength of our Masters programmes.”
This year’s FT ranking was topped by the MSc in International Finance programme at EC Paris.
