The University is ranked 41st in the 2018 Complete University Guide.
The ranking represents a drop of three places from last year, and places Liverpool unchanged at 24th in the Russell Group.
The table features 10 indicators including student satisfaction, research, grades and graduate prospects to compare 129 UK Higher Education Institutions
The University is ranked 25th for staff/student ratio and has moved up 23 places to 74th for Student Satisfaction (the table uses NSS 2016 from last year)
The research indicator, which measures both quality and intensity, reflects performance in the Research Excellence Framework. The combined score for these two indicators ranks Liverpool 35th, a position which will be used each year of publication until the next Research Performance Exercise .
In separate listings, Liverpool features in 46 of the 70 subject tables produced. Noteworthy performance includes: Nursing (up six places to 6th out of 72), Occupational Therapy (up one place to 3rd out of 28), Physiotherapy (up four places to 4th out of 35), and Chemistry (up 12 places to 11th out of 60)
