The University of Liverpool Management School’s MSc Management has entered The Economist’s WhichMBA? Masters in Management rankings for the first time.
The ranking lists the top 40 Management Masters programmes globally, based on areas such as personal development, education experience, student diversity, potential to network and alumnus rating of the careers service. MSc Management at the University of Liverpool was one of only 11 UK based programmes placed in the ranking.
Dr Patricia Murtagh, Director of Studies for Masters in Management at the University of Liverpool commented: “Inclusion in the ranking is an exciting and very welcome endorsement of our transformative research and further highlights the quality of our teaching, which prioritises the intellectual development of our students. Enhancing student experience and employability is integral to all of our Masters programmes at the Management School”.
The programme excelled in a number of categories, scoring the best overall for the percentage of academic staff with a PhD. The School also scored highly in the gender diversity category.
The School’s MBA programme is also recognised by The Economist, featuring in the ‘WhichMBA?’ top 100 global ranking in 2015, retaining its position in the 2016 rankings.
