Sensor City has been shortlisted for two industry awards.
The first nomination is for the highly contested ‘Connectivity Award’ at Smart Cities UK 2018.
The Smart Cities UK 2018 Conference, Expo and Awards will lead the way on addressing the best practice examples on smart transformation from across Cities within the United Kingdom.
Sensor City has been recognised for their use of IoT and digital engagement within the community, in addition to how the global innovation hub has improved social and economic outcomes in the Liverpool City Region.

Voting closes at midnight on Wednesday 31st January. Winners will be announced at the Smart Cities UK Awards ceremony on 1st February, following the Conference in which Sensor City’s Alison Mitchell is presenting.
Sensor City has also been shortlisted as “Best Newcomer” in The Mersey Maritime Industry Awards 2018.
These awards celebrate Liverpool City Region organisations and individuals leading the way in terms of infrastructure investment, innovation and connectivity, both nationally and with the rest of the world.
Winners of these awards will be chosen by a judging panel and announced on 8th March.
