The votes are in and your brand new Student Officer team at Liverpool Guild of Students for 2018/19 is:
- Rory Hughes – Guild President
- Hannah Nguyen
- Ester Bukoye
- Jonathon Foster
A total of 5,655 votes, which represents a 21% voter turnout, were cast in the elections which ran all last week.

Your new Student Officers for 2018/19 will officially start their roles in July when they will begin to prepare for the new term.
Rory Hughes, who has been serving this year as Vice President, has been re-elected for a second year and will take up the role of Guild President. Hannah, Ester and Jonathon are all newly elected.
What does a Student Officer do?
Student Officers lead the Liverpool Guild of Students and represent you to ensure your experience of the University is the best it possibly can be. They also help improve your education and lobby local government on issues that matter to you.
