Science and Engineering Poster Day 2018

Professor Sir Howard Newby

Postgraduate Researchers in Science and Engineering will be showcasing their work at the Faculty’s annual Poster Day next week.

Organised by Liverpool Doctoral College, the event gives postgraduate researchers the opportunity to present their research and gain feedback from senior academics and fellow research students.

Judged by academics, the event will feature posters from second and third year doctoral students from subjects right across the Faculty.

All students, staff and visitors are welcome to attend the free event which is taking place from 11am until 3pm on Wednesday, 21 March 2018. No registration is required – just turn up on the day. Refreshments will be provided.

Commenting on the event, FSE Director for PGR Professor David Joss, said: “Faculty Poster Days serve as a social and interdisciplinary networking event where learning, feedback and information are freely exchanged in a friendly and supportive environment. It is the perfect opportunity for like-minded people to get together and learn more about the research currently being undertaken at the University.”

Any students who wish to submit a poster for the event can do so at: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/faculty-of-science-and-engineering-poster-day-2018-tickets-42491832214. This will reserve you a poster board to display your work, and refreshments, including lunch on the day. However, there are a limited number of spaces available, so please ensure you reserve your space as soon as possible.
