The University has been ranked 36th= in the 2019 Complete University Guide, representing an improvement of five places on last year.
The table features 10 indicators including student satisfaction, research, grades and graduate prospects in order to compare 131 UK Higher Education institutions.
Professor Gavin Brown, Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Education, said: “It is good to see an improvement in our position as this reflects the hard work that colleagues across the University are putting into enhancing teaching and learning, particularly in the areas of student support and employability.
“In a sector where competition for the best students is growing, it is important that we continue to improve in these tables.”
The University improved average Academic Services Spend per student by £91 to £1703, Graduate Prospects by 2% to 78.5% and First/2.1s by2.6% to 79.3%.
In separate listings covering 70 subjects, Liverpool is listed in 42, and features in the top 10 of seven: Occupational Therapy (5th out of 27), Veterinary Medicine (5th out of 7), Archaeology (7th out of 32), Medical Technology (7th out of 30), Optometry/Ophthalmology/Orthoptics (9th out of 13), Chemistry (10th out of 60) and Physiotherapy (10th out of 34).
