5 of our favourite shots from Wellbeing Week 2018

Over the past week the campus has been a hub of activity for Wellbeing Week.

We’ve rounded up some of our favourite photos and videos from the activities below. If you’ve got a great image or video, share it with us using #LivUniWellbeing.

Meet the Guide Dogs

As always, the dogs stole the show during Wellbeing Week! These pups were incredibly popular, and it’s not hard to see why. Big thanks to our friends at Guide Dogs UK who brought the pooches onto campus. And well done to everyone who donated money to the charity. You raised £528.89.

Murray the Owl

This tiny instastar was in Abercromby Square on Thursday as part of our Falconry Display. Murray is a burrowing owl and, looking at the caption on the Wellbeing Week board, Murray is clearly a big Beatles fan too.

Wellbeing Fete

The mini heatwave hit Liverpool just as the Wellbeing Fete kicked off. We had dancing, free food and some brilliant inflatable obstacle courses for staff and students to enjoy.

Campus 5k

Over 300 staff and students took part in our Campus 5k run. Everyone who ran received a medal and a lot of lucky runners also got a high five from Lenny the Liverbird too.

In case you haven’t seen the results yet, congratulations to the race winners, Emma Bentley and Matthew Collyer. Full results below:

2. Alexandra Kokkinaki (Alumni)
3. Eleanor Mackillop (Staff)

Eagle

We know the Falconry Display has made it onto our list twice, but we couldn’t resist including this incredible shot.
