If you’ve ever considered studying for an arts or humanities PhD, you might like to register for our upcoming Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Postgraduate Researcher Open Day, which is taking place on Wednesday, 7 November.
At the Open Day, you can speak to representatives from the Faculty’s schools and departments about the available programmes and our application process.
There will also be talks on:
- Writing a good research proposal
- Applying for funding for arts and humanities PhDs from the AHRC via the North West Consortium Doctoral Training Partnership (NWCDTP)
- Applying for funding for social science PhDs from the Economic and Social Research Council ( ESRC) via the North West Social Science Doctoral Training Partnership (NWSSDTP)
- Other sources of PhD Funding
