The University is preparing for register its upcoming Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Postgraduate Researcher Open Day, which is taking place on Wednesday, 7 November.
At the Open Day, Students can speak to representatives from the Faculty’s schools and departments about the available programmes and our application process.
There will also be talks on:
- Writing a good research proposal
- Applying for funding for arts and humanities PhDs from the AHRC via the North West Consortium Doctoral Training Partnership (NWCDTP)
- Applying for funding for social science PhDs from the Economic and Social Research Council ( ESRC) via the North West Social Science Doctoral Training Partnership (NWSSDTP)
- Other sources of PhD Funding
