LCR4.0, the regional business support programme to help businesses take advantage of Industry4.0, has been listed in the Financial Times ‘Top 100 European digital champions.
The University’s Virtual Engineering Centre is a partner in the delivery of the LCR4.0 programme which aims to help manufactures better understand what new digital technologies can mean for their own businesses.
Part-funded by European Regional Development Fund, LCR4.0 has supported nearly 200 local manufacturing SMEs and continues to engage with a range of businesses and their supply chains.
LCR 4.0 was hailed ‘exemplar’ by last year’s Made Smarter report, demonstrating the value of such projects on the local business community and specifically, those in manufacturing.
LCR 4.0 is now calling for more sub-regional businesses to get in touch to find out how they can benefit from the programme before it ends in September next year.
