Researchers and Academics are invited to an event hosted by the External Relations department on how to engage with Parliamentary Select Committees.
Taking place on Thursday, 28 February at the Foresight Centre, staff will have the chance to hear about the new University of Liverpool support available for public affairs work.
Public affairs
Engaging with stakeholders and policy makers is an important undertaking for any university and its staff. This session will give an overview of the work of External Relations in this area and how the department can support staff with political engagement.
How to engage with Select Committees
Staff of the Science and Technology Committee will also be sharing how, as a researcher or academic, you can contribute to the work of select committees.
Staff will also have the opportunity to hear from University of Liverpool academics who have worked with Select Committees.
The event runs from 11.45pm to 1.45pm on Thursday, 28 February at the Foresight Centre.
