The 2019 National Student Survey is now underway and is being supported by Liverpool Guild of Students.
Back in 2017, Liverpool Guild of Students along with the National Union of Students (NUS) boycotted the National Student Survey because it was thought that the Teaching Excellence Framework (to which the NSS data contributes) was going to be linked to possible increases in tuition fees.
However, following a change of government position, there is now no link between the National Student Survey, Teaching Excellence Framework and student fees, and the Guild is therefore now encouraging students to complete the survey.
What is the National Student Survey?
The National Student Survey gives students the chance to feed back on their experience at University. We value your opinion and the feedback is used right across the University and Liverpool Guild to make changes, such as making printing cheaper and developing new facilities, like the 502 Teaching Hub. The data collected is also used to help prospective students decide where and what to study.
It is commissioned by the Office for Students and administered by independent research agency Ipsos MORI. The survey is part of a quality assurance system to generate more detailed information about teaching quality.
How to take part and enter the prize draw
