Liverpool Scholars Programme students celebrate graduation

The Liverpool Scholars Programme celebrated students who have successfully completed the long-term outreach programme, in a graduation event held in the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral Crypt.

 Over 250 attendees celebrated the students at an evening led by the Widening Participation and Outreach Team. Guest speakers also included current undergraduate students on the programme who are past Scholars,  former President of the Guild of Students and past Scholar, Sean Turner and an inspiring keynote from School of Law and Social Justice Lecturer, Ben Murphy.

Parents and carers watched the mini-graduation, which saw students awarded with their certificate as well as a number of awards such as:

The Scholars students, now in Year 13 will focus on their UCAS applications and attainment, aiming for a place at the University of Liverpool.
