Students invited to present work at Postgraduate Research Showcase

Students from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences are invited to present their work at the Postgraduate Research Showcase, which is taking place in Vine Court on Wednesday, 12 June.

Students will have a choice of presenting a poster, or submitting a one-minute video pitch, summarising their research.  To take part, please register via our Survey Monkey form.

The Postgraduate Research Showcase is an excellent opportunity for PhD students to gain experience of presenting and discussing their work with academics and external partners, who may well be non-subject specialists.

Three £50 vouchers will be awarded to the best posters and one £50 voucher will be awarded for the best video. The prizes will be awarded by attendees at the reception, which will take place from 2.30pm-3.15pm. Prize-giving will take place at 2.45pm.

Entries are welcome from postgraduate research students at all stages of the PhD, and also from students on MRes programmes.

Lunch will be provided for the presenters.

The poster displays and videos will be open to all for viewing between 12:30pm-2.30pm in Vine Court, within the first floor dining room.
