Funding opportunity: Knowledge Exchange, Impact and Public Engagement Voucher Scheme

The University’s Knowledge Exchange, Impact and Public Engagement (KEI&PE) Voucher Scheme 2019/20, managed by Research, Partnerships and Innovation (RPI), is now open.

The KEI&PE Voucher Scheme supports broader knowledge exchange, impact and public engagement activities. The fund assists in building relationships between the University and external non-academic partners to achieve longer term impact.

RPI will be issuing individual vouchers of up to £10,000. The KEI&PE Voucher scheme can facilitate the development of relationships between academia, industry and the public or other non-academic entities, but not other academic institutions.

Jane Rees, Head of Research and Partnerships Development, said: “We are delighted to offer this voucher scheme to pump prime projects that focus on collaboration with non-academic partners.

“The scheme aims to encourage knowledge exchange projects with potential to develop impact through collaboration or public engagement, and it is hoped that these ‘proof-of-concept’ projects will help in positioning for larger external funding schemes.”

Further information, eligibility criteria and the application form can be found on the Knowledge Exchange website.

To apply to either of these strands you will need to submit a signed version of this application and agreement form to keawards@liverpool.ac.uk before 5pm on Monday 16 September 2019. A decision on funding will be made within one month of the closing date for this scheme.
