Welcome Week is just around the corner and the Guild has put together an amazing programme of events.

Paul Sinha
Direct from a run at Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and straight from ITV’s ‘The Chase’, Paul ‘The Sinnerman’ Sinha will be bringing his comedy show to campus especially for you! Tickets are priced at £6.
When: Tuesday 17 September, 7pm
Where: Mountford Hall, inside the Guild.
Baltic Food Market
Liverpool is a city known for its food and the Baltic Market is one of the top destinations for all you foodies! This street food market, the first of its kind in the city, is located right at the heart of the Baltic Triangle, Liverpool’s creative quarter. It’s worth a trip to take in the wall-art, live music and, of course, great food – we have two words for you…Halloumi…Fries!
When: Wednesday 18 September, 5pm
Where: Baltic Market, Stanhope Street. Please present your student ID upon arrival.
Welcome Party
What’s your go-to song at karaoke? Get thinking, because this year’s Welcome Party will take you through a mixtape of all your favourite songs to sing in the shower, car, or into your hairbrush! Don’t worry though, you won’t need to take the mic yourself as it’s a ‘Massaoke’, so you and all your new friends can belt out the classics together!
When: Sunday 15 September, 9pm
Where: Mountford Hall, the Guild. Free buses from Greenbank Student Village leave at 8.30pm.

Welcome Fair
The Welcome Fair is your opportunity to find out about all of the societies and volunteering opportunities you can take advantage of during your time at the University. And yes, the rumours are true – as well as loads of great freebies and discounts, you can also get free Domino’s Pizza at the Fair too.
All students are welcome, whether you’re a first year or a final year student.
When: Thursday 19 September (Welcome Fair) and Friday 20 September (Societies and Volunteering Fair): 10am – 4pm
Where: Mountford Hall, inside the Guild.
Campus Tour
Get to know your way around campus on this exclusive tour. Our friendly guides will show you the best lunch spots, their favourite study spaces and help you to navigate your way around the University.
When: Monday 16 September, Wednesday 18 September and Friday 20 September, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm
Where: Meet at the Guild reception.
