Are you interested in gaining new skills and discovering a brand new culture whilst having the adventure of a lifetime? Join the Study Abroad team and Professor David Goodman (Vice-President of XJTLU) at a special information session to find out about the University of Liverpool’s flagship study abroad programme, Year in China.
Year in China, gives students the chance to discover Chinese language, culture and history by spending an additional year of study at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU). Located in the historic city of Suzhou, just 30 minutes from Shanghai via bullet train, XJTLU and the Year in China is your gateway to this incredible country and an unforgettable year.
Former Year in China student Gethin Watkins said: “Taking part in the Year in China programme was a once in a lifetime opportunity. The immersion in Chinese culture alongside being taught about its history and politics have given me an invaluable understanding of China and its culture. It’s a truly fascinating country with so much to learn about. I would recommend the Year in China to anyone, I would do it again in a heartbeat!”
This event is open to all undergraduate students. To sign-up for the session, just search for the event in Career Hub.
