Come along to our Student Mental Health Forum

Do you want to find out more about the support services for students at the University?

Come along to our Student Mental Health Forum on Thursday, 7 November 5pm – 7pm.

The forum, which will meet several times throughout the academic year, is an opportunity for you to find out what actions the University has taken towards service provision over the last 12 months and learn more about what’s next.

The forum will also be joined by representatives from Liverpool Light – a night café for people experiencing mental health related crisis – who will be chatting to students about their services.

You will also get the chance to share your thoughts about university and NHS mental health services and your experiences of them, as well as finding out more about the ‘Improving Student Mental Health through Partnership’ project which has recently received £770k funding from the Office for Students (OfS).

Commenting on the event Guild Vice President, Hannah Ngyuyen, said: “Our Mental Health Forum will give you the opportunity to ask about any of the student support services, whether it’s counselling, money advice and guidance or mental health and disability support.

“If you have any questions or concerns about where to get help at the University, where to signpost your friend if they are struggling or just have some great ideas on how to make things better, please come along!”
