This spring, Careers and Employability are hosting a brand-new event designed to share insight on underrepresented sectors and inspire students.
The event will kick off with a welcome breakfast at 8.30am in Mountford Hall before the incredible Nisha Katona, Mowgli restaurateur, is welcomed to the stage for a Q&A session with Dr Paul Redmond. Nisha will share her journey from lawyer to entrepreneur and owner of ever-growing restaurant chain.
Following on from our opening talk, we’ll be holding a series of panel discussions between 10am and 1:30pm. Our panellist will give you exclusive insight into their current roles and career journeys. The panels are grouped by industry, which will allow a broad insight into different roles and career paths available in that sector. As many of our panellist are University of Liverpool alumni, their experiences are even more relatable to our students.
All staff and students are invited to attend. You can find out more about the event and each panel here.
If you would like to attend any of the sessions, please register your place by emailing studentsuccess@liverpool.ac.uk.
