Pandemic: your stories

This is an unprecedented and challenging time for everyone in the University community, the UK and the wider world.

Throughout this period we will continue to communicate with you about how the latest developments affect you, our students and the University more broadly, but we are also keen to hear and share positive stories about how our University community is responding at this time of crisis.

You may have noticed already how, for example, our final year medical students have been showcased by the BBC for the way they are stepping up to work in the NHS, and how our academics are helping the world to better understand everything from the science of COVID-19 to the impact of the pandemic on the global economy.

As the situation develops, we know that in many different ways people across the University community will be supporting the response to the pandemic, both in a formal capacity and through voluntary work.

We are keen to recognise and share these contributions with colleagues, students and further afield.
