In response to the challenge of gaining meaningful work experience due to COVID19, the team from Bright Network have brought together world leading employers and top educators to deliver a new series of virtual internships for students and recent graduates.
Taking part in the Internship Experience UK programme will provide you with an opportunity to discover new career paths, learn from employers, and boost your employability.
The internships are completely free and open to all students, with no prior experience required. They can be completed between 14 December and 5 January in your own time, fitting in with any work and study commitments via the Bright Network On Demand service.
There are 6 programmes available, focusing on the following sectors:
- Investment Banking
- Technology
- Consulting
- Commercial Law
- Finance and Professional Services
- Business and Marketing
Whichever you choose, you will benefit from:
- An introduction to the sector
- Core skills sessions – delivered by career experts
- Sector-focused skills workshops delivered by leading employers
- Set projects to simulate work you’d do on an internship
- Flexibility to complete around your schedule
- Digitally connecting with your cohort on LinkedIn
- A certificate on completion which you can add to your CV and LinkedIn
Applications are now open, and the deadline is Sunday 13 December.

Taking part in the programme is a great way to show potential employers that you’ve been proactive during this period of uncertainty, and have developed your skills and completed projects based on real work scenarios. You will also receive a certificate of completion to add to your CV, and include on your Linkedin and Handshake profiles.
