VITAL, which has been the University’s virtual learning environment for around a decade, is being replaced, and from August 2021 all of your modules will be available via Canvas.
The majority of learning content associated with all your VITAL modules – such as lecture notes and videos – will be automatically copied over into Canvas.
You will also be able to access content uploaded in VITAL via PebblePad and Mobius when you start using these apps in Canvas.
Materials you need to save
There are a few items that can’t be copied and you will need to download and save these materials before 31 July 2021 – which is the last day you will be able to access VITAL.
Here is a list of some of the materials that you will have to save:
- Turnitin assignments and feedback
- Blackboard assignments and feedback
- Discussion boards and threads
- Blackboard quizzes
- Items saved within Campus Pack

Please remember to check and save all relevant materials for each of your VITAL modules.
