Following recent news about the Culture, Employment and Development in Academic Research Survey – (CEDARS)* research staff are now invited to share their experiences of the research environment that they work in.
The survey will provide valuable information on how the we can create a healthy and supportive research culture to ensure our researchers can thrive at the University.
As well as important topics, such as, researchers’ experiences of their local research environment and working conditions, the associated responsibilities of managers of researchers will also be explored. The results of the survey will also establish a baseline for the UK research system generally in what more we need to do to achieve the Principles of the Researcher Development Concordat.
Who should participate?
We want to hear from staff of all career levels who are active researchers, including teaching staff engaged in research and those staff who have formal research staff management/ research supervision responsibilities. Staff can access the survey here: https://liverpool.onlinesurveys.ac.uk/cedars21
CEDARS opens today and will run between Monday, 12 April – Wednesday, 5 May 2021.
The deadline for responses is on Wednesday, 5 May at 11.59pm.
