Class of 2021: Graduation premiere today

Abercromby Square University of Liverpool

At 12pm on Friday 23 July 2021 – the day degrees will be officially conferred in absentia – students and staff can tune in to watch this year’s graduation premiere.

The premiere will be streamed via the Graduation webpages and will feature contributions from across the University community, including conferral of degrees by the Vice-Chancellor.

To watch, simply log on and choose the celebration for your Faculty. If you are unsure which Faculty you belong to, you can see its name displayed on the right-hand menu of your School or Department webpage.

If you can’t make the premiere, don’t worry. You, your friends and your family will be able to watch via the Graduation webpages at any time later, once the premiere has screened.

Get involved

The graduation webpages will also be the focal point for messages of goodwill, including from some of our teaching staff and your peers, family and alumni via a social media wall. If you would like to share your own congratulations message or tell us how you’re celebrating, make sure you tag your posts #LivUniGrad.

Advice from our Careers and Employability team

If you’re looking for advice on what to do after graduation, our Careers and Employability team will be running a live WhatsApp chat for you to access support and talk about your next steps. The Live Chat pop-up will be available shortly after the premiere and will run until 3pm.

There will also be information about postgraduate opportunities and details about the various benefits you are entitled to as a member of our global alumni community.

Email access beyond graduation

Remember, if you’re graduating this July, you will have access to your University email until the end of December 2021. Please make sure you update your contact details by registering for an alumni account. The account comes with a range of benefits, including access to online journals and leisure discounts.
