The University of Liverpool is delighted to announce that Liverpool City Region’s eagerly anticipated in-person event series ‘The Good Business Festival’ will be back in 2022.
Staff and students are invited to join major brands and inspiring leaders from business, media, music and academia for what is the world’s largest responsible business festival. The festival is formed around six showcase events across Liverpool City Region and culminates in three days of events running from 22 – 24 March 2022.
Hosted across different quarters in the city centre, venues for next year’s events include Oh Me Oh My on Liverpool Waterfront, CONTENT in the Baltic Triangle and our very own University of Liverpool Guild of Students.
A digital version of the event took place as a live streamed event in October 2020 with the overarching theme of ‘profit comes from purpose’. The event was watched by thousands of people across 43 countries and featured digital participants across business, politics and the arts. Guests including Ann Cairns, Tim Smit, Caroline Lucas, David Miliband, Richard Curtis & Lady Nicola Mendehlson were in conversation with leading journalists Evan Davis and Aasmah Mir about what we should be aiming for in a post COVID-19 world.
As a key collaborator, the University of Liverpool is contributing to core sessions across a wide range of topics. This will be complemented by a series of specialist business support clinics and pop-up events that will showcase our breadth of research expertise and capabilities.
This is a fantastic opportunity to boost your knowledge, help you make new connections and for you to utilize skills enhanced during Making an impact 2021. Please save the dates in your diary and we will bring you further details as they develop.
