Living with and understanding eating disorders

Eating disorders have a huge impact on people from all walks of society, but remain one of the most misunderstood mental health conditions.

To help improve knowledge and raise awareness, the University’s Improving Student Mental Health through Partnerships Project Team are hosting a workshop on Wednesday 9 February that will explore living with, and understanding eating disorders.

Aimed at both those with lived experiences of the conditions covered, and at those who wish to gain more of an understanding and insight, this workshop will cover;

Wellbeing support and resources for students

Student Services offer comprehensive advice, support and information on a wide range of non-academic issues. The team are based in the Alsop Building on University Square. There are also facilities across campus, including Brownlow Health GP service.
