Scouse Science Podcast: Yousef and Dr Eduardo Coutinho

Professor Tom Solomon will be joined by Liverpudlian DJ, Yousef, and the University of Liverpool’s Dr Eduardo Coutinho for a special music-themed Scouse Science Podcast on Monday, 21 March at 1pm.

They’ll be delving into the topic of music and mood – why it makes us feel better and what’s going on in the brain when it does.

Dr Eduardo Coutinho is the founder and Director of the APPLIED MUSIC Research Lab, an interdisciplinary research group based at the University of Liverpool’s Department of Music that aims to harness the benefits of music for improving people’s lives. Professor Tom Solomon CBE is a neurologist and Director of the UK’s Emerging Infections Research Unit based as the University of Liverpool. He is President of the Encephalitis Society and appears regularly on television and radio discussing science. You can follow him @RunningMadProf on Twitter.
