Exclusive paid internships for Liverpool students

Liverpool Interns

Liverpool Interns is a unique programme from Careers and Employability that provides current students with an opportunity to gain work experience and boost career prospects – while earning £1,000!

What are the internships?

The internships are exclusive to University of Liverpool students, and span a number of areas including marketing, business development, research, education, information technology, health, and more.

The Careers and Employability team have been working in partnership with Santander Universities UK and local businesses to create opportunities for students.

All vacancies are listed on Handshake, and current roles available include:

Each internship requires a total of 100 hours work, paid at £10 per hour. They can be completed over a number of weeks, part-time during term-time to fit with studies, or during the vacation period.

Before Applying

Not all candidate CVs are referred to the companies for consideration, it’s a competitive process and from experience the Careers & Employability tam find that most CVs require some improvement before they are suitable to propose to an employer offering projects under this initiative.

Before making an application for any of the internships make sure to visit the Career Studio, located on the University Square, where the team of Career Coaches will be able to assist you in improving or creating a CV that reflects your capabilities.

The Career Studio is open Monday to Friday from 10am-5pm. The Coaches can help you through every stage of the application and interview process you don’t need an appointment – just call in!
