Choosing activities for your Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR)

Green Guild Roof Garden

Your Higher Education Achievement Record (HEAR) is a formal degree transcript that provides a full record of your achievements while studying at The University of Liverpool.

It enables you to demonstrate your achievements throughout your time at university, including academic work, extra-curricular activities, prizes and employability awards, voluntary work and offices held in student union clubs and societies that have been verified by the University and Guild of Students.

Accessing your e-portfolio

You can view these activities by visiting your e-portfolio. Use the ‘How to Access your e-Portfolio’ guide if you have any issues, and don’t worry if you don’t have any activities listed here – not everyone does.

If you do have activities in your e-portfolio, please check that the list of activities is correct.

Please note:

If your activity list is correct, you do not need to take any further action. However, if you have any questions, then please follow this FAQ which should answer them or direct you to the best person to help.

Final year students

If you are due to graduate this summer, you will soon be receiving an email that will ask you to register onto our University of Liverpool graduation portal. This portal will enable you to view your secure documents and share them with employers, third parties and other institutions, after your award has been conferred this summer.

Final year undergraduate and postgraduate taught degree students will be able to view electronic versions of their degree certificate and HEAR (Higher Education Achievement Report) through this site.

Any changes to your list of activities must be highlighted to the activity owner listed by Friday 20th May.  Please note that not all activities are eligible to go on the HEAR at this point. The full list can be viewed here.
